ANHALT – PICKELHAUBE / SPIKED HELMET – RESERVE OFFICER – INFANTRY-REGIMENT NR 93SKU: 04-832
$4,495.00Reserve officer pickelhaube from Anhaltisches Infantry-Regiment Nr 93. This regiment was raised in 1807 and was garrisoned at Dessau and Zerbst. It was assigned to the IV. Armeekorps. The overall condition of the leather body of this spiked helmet is quite pleasing with light blemishes. The wappen and coat of arms for Anhalt, is brass and has bright fire gilding. Below the Anhalt coat of arms, we see a silver reserve officer cross. The chin scales, base, officer stars, base, pearl ring, and spike are all brass. The final detail to the exterior include the Saxon pattern Anhalt state kokarde in green which we see in the ribbons for decorations from this state and the Reich kokarde. I personally favor this pattern kokarde over the much simpler Prussian pattern…..
