Prinz Alfons of Bavaria was a very popular royal in Bavaria and beyond. He did serve in the army even acquiring the rank of General, but he never held command authority. He was a cultured man and was more of a scientist. After WW I he sponsored a shooting badge for shooting competitions. This badge was awarded in both a 1st and 2nd Class. Today we offer the 2nd Class version. It is silver while the 1st Class was gold….In stock
