$65.00This is a set of four different ration coupons from four different cities in Bavaria. Even after WW I ended, food remained in short supply in Germany. Thus, well after the war, food was still rationed. These coupons were issued for the period of April through May 1919. Each sheet measures 4 3/4″ x 5.” Furthermore, each sheet contains forty small coupons that people could exchange for meat. They were allowed to redeem ten of these coupons each week. The ration stamps are for the cities of Augsburg, Bogen, Dingolsing, and Bamberg I-Land. They are in excellent condition and very colorful. They have blank areas for the person to add their name and street address.
