  Pre WW I officer visor cap for the Navy See Battalion which at that time there were three Battalions. One battalion was based in Wilhelmshaven, another in Kiel, and the third in China at Tsingtao. Once the war began the See Battalion transitioned to Marine Infantry. They then fought in Flanders along with elements of artillery and even Jastas….
