  This is one of the ever-popular patriotic bracelets made from an artillery shell’s driving band, which serves as the bracelet’s basic component. Attached to the bracelet’s front is a small, enamel, 1914 Iron Cross. Inside the bracelet is engraved “Welt Krieg 1914/1915,” along with a dedication from a brother (Peter) to his sister. It is a very tidy arrangement. The bracelet has been cleaned. It glows like gold, but is made of brass.
