Spanish badge from the “Franco” era (1939-1975). This CAP badge was used from 1941 to 1975, (even to 1978 in some cases), by the infamous “Policia Armada”, (they were known as the “Grises”, the “greys”, due to the color of their uniform). This “Policia Armada”, (Armed Police”) were the political police during the Dictatorship.
