GERMANY – PERIOD FRAMED COLORIZED IMAGE OF THE PORT AT WILHELMSHAVEN
This a period framed colorized image of the port of Wilhelmshaven. This was the German port with access to the North Sea and the primary port for the best ships of the Kaiserliche Marine including Battleship Squadron Nr 1 which were the primary ships at the Battle of Jutland in 1916.
The frame is brown wood with black wood at the top which gives a roof effect. On the frame there are numerous decorative motifs. The frame can either be used by an easel on the reverse or hung from a hook on the back.
There is glass on the front of the frame to protect the image.
