This is Sanke card Nr 616 of Bruno Loerzer. Early in the war he flew an observation plane and his observer was Hermann Göring. Loerzer commanded Jagdeschwader Nr III. He finished the war with forty-four confirmed victories….

This is Sanke card Nr 616 of Bruno Loerzer. Early in the war he flew an observation plane and his observer was Hermann Göring. Loerzer commanded Jagdeschwader Nr III. He finished the war with forty-four confirmed victories.

As he was very good friends with Göring he entered the Luftwaffe in the 1930’s. He rose to the rank of Oberstgeneral. He lived until 1960.

Sanke cards of Loerzer are not common and this is a late war card.

This card is in excellent condition although it shows some signs of silver oxidation and was never mailed.
