GERMANY – SHOULDER BOARDS – GENERAL OFFICER LEVEL BEAMTE OFFICIAL
This is a marvelous pair of shoulder boards for a Beamte official in the rank of a General officer. There are twin silver bullion ropes with a single band of black bullion in the center.
Each shoulder board has twin brass pips which were this officer a military commander would carry the rank of General der Infanterie. This rank for a military commander would have had responsibility of common of an Armeekorps. In the center of the shoulder board we see the Beamte device for Prussia. The pips are totally unlike military pips and are flower like.
The reverse of the slip on shoulder boards are made of carmine felt. There is a hint of a moth track on each. The obverse is mint. This is the highest ranking pair of Beamte shoulder boards that I have ever been able to offer.
