HAMBURG – HANSEATIC CROSS
The Hanseatic Cross from the free State of Hamburg consists of a cross with handsome red enamel. The center of the cross is the Rathaus for Hamburg. This Rathaus was destroyed during WW II by Allied bombing (Like much of Hamburg) and was later rebuilt. The reverse of the Hanseatic cross basically acknowledges service during war.
The cross is in excellent condition with no damage to the enamel.
A short length of white and red replacement ribbon is included.
