This is a postcard of the Battleship S. M. S. Zähringen. She was commissioned in 1902 and was outmoded by the beginning of WW I. She was a part of the “Wittelsbach” battleship class. She served in minor roles during the war, but saw no combat. She is seen steaming out to sea from a port. Some technical details are located in the lower right corner. The postcard was never mailed.
