It does bear .900 silver hallmarking, along with a crown and a half moon. It also displays hallmarking for the firm of Hermann Jürgens, the House Jeweler to Braunschweig’s royal family. It was located in the capital city of Braunschweig. The decoration was civil in nature. It appears on a red and yellow ribbon. The backing of the medal bar is red felt. A sturdy pin is present.
