This is a one-place medal bar for the Hindenburg Cross with Swords for Combatants. Both the ribbon and the decoration are in very fine condition. No pin appears on the reverse. From what I can see, it never had one.

This is a three-place Frack Bar. From left to right, it features the following decorations:
Nine-Year Long-Service Award for NCO’s/Enlisted Men Saxony.
1914 Iron Cross 2nd Class
Military Heinrich Medal in Silver – Saxony. (This is one of the lower classes of the Military Heinrich Order, which includes Breast Stars, Knight’s Crosses, etc. It is NOT an easy decoration to find. It is made of SILVER).
The medals and ribbons are in very good condition. When you look at the Frack Bar, you will see exposed metal on the frame. This occurred as the bar was produced. When one wore the bar with a suit coat, it was pushed under the lapel and was not visible.

This is a most unusual two place medal bar. What makes it so interesting is the presence of TWO Non Combatant’s medals on it. From left to right, its medals are listed below.
War Service Cross (Non Combatants) 2nd Class – Braunschweig.
Hindenburg Cross for Non Combatants.
The decorations and ribbons are quite good. Only a hint of soiling shows on the ribbons.
