PATRIOTIC PORCELAIN WINE GOBLET – FROM NOTED FIRM H & C SELB

This porcelain wine goblet is in good condition. It stands 5” tall, is 3.5” in diameter at the rim, and 2.5” in diameter at the base. It sports
a row of colorful blue, green, and black flowers beginning at the rim. A trim band of Imperial Germany’s red, white, and black national colors separates that row from a row of golden oak leaves. The latter sits above the words “Zum Andenken Kriegsjahr 1914/17″ (To Commemorate the War Years 1914/17), which are underscored by two lines of fine, gold trim.

The hallmark for H & C Selb, Bavaria appears underneath on the base. Heinrich and Company is a Bavarian firm located in Selb, Bavaria, which was founded in 1903. It remains in business today under the ownership of Villeroy & Boch AG. The piece sports vibrant colors with no chipping, and is fine condition, overall. This goblet is value-priced!
