Bavaria Award Packet Carl Poellath KG

Carl Poellath was well known as the major producer of WW I Bavarian flight badges, along with other medals. The firm was founded in 1778 and has remained in business ever since. In 1910, they were declared the purveyor to the pontifical and royal Bavarian court, they were also well-known for religious medals. They produced and delivered the official badges and tags for the 1936 Berlin Olympic Games. 2013 marks their 235th anniversary as a company.
