Bavaria Patriotic Display Box

This is a miniature jewelry or keepsake box which is fashioned to be a pickelhaube from the Kingdom of Bavaria. The helmet is true to a larger pickelhaube. It has chinstraps, spike, kokarde, back strap and most importantly a faithful wappen for the Kingdom of Bavaria. This wappen is complete with two rampant Lions and the motto of Bavaria.

The top of the pickelhaube body which is black velvet is hinged which swings open. Once open we see the top half is lined with white silk. The bottom half is lined with a off white velvet. On this base is mounted a small hook which would hold a treasured piece of jewelry or whatever your imagination might suggest.
