This signed letter from Friedrich Wilhelm Graf von Bülow Dennewitz (1755-1816) is a rare and precious artifact. He was a highly successful commander who led the Prussian IV. ArmeeKorps under Blücher at the Battle of Waterloo. This ArmeeKorps faced the heaviest action and successfully accomplished its mission during the momentous battle. The letter, dated 13 September 1813, provides Dienstanweisungen (instructions or regulations). For a document nearly two centuries old, it is in remarkably good condition.
