Original Imperial German sleeve insignia for a regimental Fahnenträger (color‑bearer), intended for wear on the feldgrau tunic, c.1914–1918. Worked to officer/private‑purchase quality on a shield‑shaped grey wool backing, the device shows crossed yellow standards with Prussian eagles to the medallions and tasselled cords, surmounted by the imperial crown. Beneath the staffs is the crowned royal cipher “WR / II” for Kaiser Wilhelm II.
