Prussian Schirmmutze / Visor Cap for NCO in Dragoner Rgt Pre WWI

This NCO Dragoner schirmmütze from the pre-World War I era is a high-quality product with impressive features. The black visor is finely crafted, while the cap's top is adorned with a dark blue color. A wide yellow band adds to its elegance, and a single yellow trim band is visible at the top. The cap's authenticity is evident with the correct NCO Prussian and Reich kokarden in place. However, there are some minor moth tracking issues with a few nips on the wide yellow band.

The interior of the cap boasts a complete brown leather sweatband, although it has a tear in one spot. The silk liner is in excellent condition and has the size marked as 6 7/8, presumably added by a later collector.

This cap is a perfect representation of the pre-World War I era and is a tall example of fine craftsmanship.
